Watching a game with other people, without bar noise and without fighting for a table, is not always easy to arrange in Barcelona. In a cannabis social club the setup is different from a hospitality venue, and it is worth understanding why.
What is shown
At Grasshopper Weed Club there is sport on screen: football, NFL and Formula 1. Those three competitions shape the calendar for most members, and between them they cover practically the whole year.
The specific programming — what is on each day and at what time — is announced internally among members. This website does not publish a broadcast schedule: it depends on each competition’s fixtures, and publishing it here would send people on the wrong day.
How it differs from watching in a bar
- It is a private members space. No constant churn of people coming and going.
- No minimum spend and no pressure to give up your table.
- Club-sized capacity, not a nightclub’s.
- You can bring your pet. The club is pet friendly.
The practical difference is that you can follow a whole match without the venue working to move you along.
And if sport is not your thing
The space does not revolve only around the screens. There are pool tables and board games, which work just as well when nothing is on. In fact, most of what happens in the club on an ordinary day has nothing to do with sport.
Hours and location
The club is at Carrer de Calàbria, 29, in Sant Antoni (Eixample), open 12:00 to 23:00, seven days a week. Those hours cover the usual window for most European competitions.

Before you come
Access is members only. This is a private non-profit association, not a point of sale to the public: you do not walk in from the street, you need prior registration, photo ID and to meet the minimum age the club requires. Sale outside the association framework is prohibited, as is consumption in public spaces in Barcelona.
