A community-focused cannabis social club in Barcelona
What a private cannabis association is
It’s a non-profit entity whose members meet in a closed space. It is not a point of sale open to the public. We don’t serve non-members, there’s no shop window and nothing is sold at the door. Selling and consuming in public are prohibited.
You sign up once, with photo ID, and from then on the space is as much yours as anyone’s.
What Grasshopper Weed Club is not
It’s not a bar. It’s not a coffee shop. It’s not a place you pass through, use and leave.
It’s a club: people who know each other, who come back, who have their table and their time of day. What’s a transaction somewhere else is an afternoon here.
Who comes to the club
People from the neighbourhood come, and so do people passing through Barcelona. They come on their own and they come in groups. Some come to play pool, some to watch the match, some to do nothing on the sofa with the dog beside them.
There’s no single type. The one thing members share is that none of them was in a hurry to leave.
How it works
The club is open every day from 12:00 to 23:00, at Carrer de Calàbria, 29, opposite the Cuap Manso. The entrance is wheelchair accessible.
Access is members only. To join you need to be over 18 and have photo ID. Tourists and foreign residents can join too.
Take a look at the club facilities — pool, board games, screens and a pet-friendly space.
